First week

Finally the time had come where I was heading down to Bath with my coach, Dave Sammel, to start my training. On Monday morning Dave reminded me that “today is your first official day as a professional tennis player.” Man I was excited!!! The week of training was hugely successful, I worked hard on and off the court and came away very encouraged. Along with my coaches at TeamBath – MCTA (Dave and Macca,) I have a very clear vision of the way I will play tennis that we all believe will be successful.

Moving to a new academy and new scenery always exciting and nerve wracking at the same time but my host family down here in Bath (Carolina, Alex, Archie, and Fraser) were extremely kind by letting me stay with them but they are also so friendly and made me feel welcome right from the start.

At the end of the week I received some good news as I was accepted into the British Tour event at Nottingham starting next Thursday. As much as I enjoy practicing, nothing can beat being on the court competing one on one another player.
