Going into the futures event at Shrewsbury I had no idea that I would still be playing there a week later, but iv been working hard with my coaches and trainers at Team Bath to make sure that if opportunities came up and I was in the tournaments later in the weeks, I'd be prepared. This happened in Shrewsbury. I won my first professional title, and it felt as good as I imagined. They always say the first title is the hardest, but I think now the hard part is building on that.
Start of 2017 - ITF 15k Futures in Turkey After a good training block over Christmas I set off to play two futures tournaments in Turkey. I travelled with fellow TeamBath-MCTA member Liam Broady and fellow Brit David Fox. Prior to Christmas I had a couple of tournaments again in Turkey where I struggled with the conditions, and I wasn't sure how I felt about returning to those same conditions just a few weeks later. However, I think it's always good to get back to places and
